Looking Toward Snæfellsjökull

The idea for this piece was born on a quiet drive, when Snæfellsjökull appeared in the distance along the Reykjanes road on my way to Grindavík.

The painting captures the calm sea, the soft blue tones, and the mysterious presence of this iconic Icelandic glacier.
